# Domain Registry The Domain Registry maps AeThex public hostnames to the products, programs, and infrastructure that own them. It is the authoritative documentation index for domain purpose; DNS availability alone does not prove that a product is complete or supported. | Field | Value | |---|---| | Documentation status | Active | | Maintainer | AeThex documentation maintainers | | Canonical documentation | [docs.aethex.support](https://docs.aethex.support) | | Public release directory | [aethex.us/releases](https://aethex.us/releases) | | Last verified | 2026-07-29 | ## Classification Every hostname is assigned one of these types: | Type | Meaning | |---|---| | Product | A public AeThex product or application | | Program | A Corporation, Foundation, or Labs program | | Community | A community- or customer-owned property | | Documentation | Public operating manuals and reference material | | Infrastructure | API, authentication, source, automation, hosting, or storage | | Status | Availability and incident reporting | | Alias | Redirect or alternate hostname with no independent content | | Legacy | Retained temporarily for migration or link compatibility | ## Canonical documentation and release hosts | Hostname | Type | Purpose | Canonical relationship | |---|---|---|---| | `aethex.us` | Program | Public AeThex ecosystem surface | Owns the cross-Trinity release directory | | `aethex.us/releases` | Program | Curated releases across Corporation, Foundation, and Labs | Canonical public release index | | `docs.aethex.support` | Documentation | AeThex operating manuals and technical reference | Canonical documentation host | | `docs.aethex.tech` | Legacy | Previous GitBook documentation host | Planned path-preserving redirect to `docs.aethex.support` | | `status.aethex.tech` | Status | Current service availability and incidents | Does not publish product releases | | `git.aethex.tech` | Infrastructure | Source repositories and collaboration | Engineering history, not public release notes | ## Initial product mappings These mappings establish the release system without claiming that every reachable hostname is a separate product. | Primary hostname | Product or property | Type | Release surface | |---|---|---|---| | `aethex.bot` | AeThex Bot | Product | `aethex.bot/changelog` | | `aethex.bot/warden` | Warden | Product | Filtered through `aethex.us/releases` until a dedicated route is published | | `rra.aethex.bot` | RRA | Community | Community-specific deployment history | | `oakdale.aethex.tech` | Oakdale | Product/property | Product-specific deployment history | | `aethex.support` | AeThex Support | Product | Support-specific release history | | `docs.aethex.support` | AeThex Documentation | Documentation | Documentation changelog | ## Registry rules - A hostname is not promoted to a product merely because it resolves or returns HTTP 200. - Product pages identify a primary owner, maturity, repository, canonical documentation, and release history. - API, CDN, authentication, status, source-control, secrets, and automation hosts remain infrastructure unless they have an independently supported public product. - Community and customer changes do not enter the AeThex platform changelog unless the shared AeThex product changed. - Aliases redirect to the canonical hostname and do not maintain separate documentation. - Legacy hosts retain path-compatible redirects for durable external links. - New or changed mappings require an entry in the documentation changelog. ## Related documentation - [[Service Directory]] - [[Release System]] - [[Documentation Standards]] - [[Changelog]]
